0000 grade steel wool is used for polishing and cleaning delicate surfaces, cutting back between coats of french polish, oils, varnishes and lacquers.
Polishing non ferrous metals such as brass, copper, aluminium, stainless steel and chrome.Use with soapy water to clean and polish porcelain, marble and glass without marking.
Grades 00,0 and 1 steel wool is used for light cleaning and surface preparation. Use with Liberon wax & polish remover to remove built up wax polish, smoke and dirt on wood.
Smoothing, cleaning and preparing wood or metal surfaces before finishing with wax, polish, paint or varnish.Can be used with a suitable solvent for light to medium cleaning of metals.
Grade 2,3 and 4 steel wool is used for paint and varnish removal. Use with paint remover to remove varnish, paint and lacquers from wood and metal surfaces
